Attempting to earn the love of his estranged son Arthur, Col. Gervaise has been hired as his manservant. Unaware of the Colonel’s true identity, Arthur, a reclusive and brooding artist, longs to be left alone to sculpt his latest work: a Psyche, which he keeps hidden from any visitors. When an unruly and desperate Scotsman comes to Arthur’s studio in search of his own estranged child, Mattie, Col.
